Ignatian Leadership for Mission
The Jesuit Collaborative is sponsoring three Ignatian Leadership for Mission retreats in 2010 and 2011. The retreats, for Jesuit and lay colleagues in the apostolates (universities, schools, parishes, retreat houses, etc.) of the Maryland, New York and New England Provinces will take place March 21- 26, 2010 at the Jesuit Center, Wernersville, PA, June 20-25, 2010 at the Campion Renewal Center, Weston, MA and January 17-22, 2011 at St. Ignatius Jesuit Retreat House, Manhasset, NY. The retreats focus on the following graces:
Gratitude
To understand and to rejoice gratefully in who we are and who we
are called to become – by God’s gracious and loving
desire and design.
Healing
Grateful joy in the realization of God’s unfailingly steadfast
and forgiving love – revealed in Christ crucified, before
whom Ignatius asks, “What have I done? What am I doing? What
shall I do?”
Call
The enthusiastic desire and determination to join God and Christ
in overcoming the powers of darkness – so that the light of
truth and love, justice and peace might shine in our world.
Co-laboring
To live and labor lovingly as the hands and feet, heads and hearts,
of the risen Lord living and laboring in us, his Ignatian companions,
Lay and Jesuit, on mission together.
| As we look at our society today, we find
ourselves facing unique opportunities,
calling for new styles of leadership.
Our
Ignatian spirituality ideally suits
us to
respond to the challenges
we face as
Jesuit and
Lay Colleagues.
