Pastoral Changes

           Timothy B. Brown, SJ, provincial, has announced changes in several Jesuit parishes. Archbishop Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C., has appointed Mark Horak, SJ, present pastor of Old St. Joseph Church in Philadelphia, as pastor of Holy Trinity Church in Georgetown, effective July 1. Fr. Horak succeeds Jim Shea, SJ, who will complete his pastoral work at Holy Trinity on June 15. Fr. Shea will begin his preparations for his new assignment as provincial of the Maryland Province.

            James F. McAndrews, SJ, will serve as acting pastor of Old St.
Joseph¹s Parish during July and August.

            James Casciotti, SJ, completes his pastorate at St. Ignatius Church in Baltimore on the feast of Corpus Christi, May 25. Archbishop Edwin O¹Brien of Baltimore has named Brendan Hurley, SJ, parish administrator until the appointment of a new pastor.
